Minecraft Setting Up A Server With A Host?

I'm planning to rent a Minecraft Server, but I'm very VERY confused with FileZilla and FTP and such.

I tried Minecraft Realms, but it won't allow Mods, more than 20 players and such.

What is the best website to rent Minecraft Servers, and I need an easiest guide to set up a server.
