I set up a minecraft server using the jar off minecraft.net and then used hamachi. All of my friends have hamachi and we got that whole network thing sorted out but from there I have no clue what to do. We have tried just putting my ip in but that didn't work. The server is ready and running I just have no clue on how to get them to join. Please help and no I'm not going to just watch a video.

Lmao just kidding. Unless you want risk people joining for no reason other than to troll and what not, either know how to ban them before you think about opening up. But my best suggestion would be to invite people you use to join via Tunngle or Hamachi. It basically will let people join a LAN game without being on the same ground network. Really honestly, Youtube is your best friend on this. I hate half the videos but there are a select few that might help you. Best of luck.
