I'm running a server and I want to get people to join my it, I really enjoy playing with other people and getting to meet new people, thats why I have decided to make a server.

I highly recommend posting on planetminecraft.com it has a section for people to post their servers. You will need to include how many people it can hold, is it vanilla, Bukkit or Modded and server rules.
Make a vid using note blocks to advertise your server. I will check it out.
Upload a video about your server in youtube upload your server in server sites
