How to get string in minecraft pe?

I'm kinda freaked out by the spiders though and i don't want to go near them. Is that the only way of getting string? By killing spiders?

No mobs will spawn on my Minecraft PE ported map?

So I found this one Minecraft ported map on MCPEUniverse and downloaded it to put on my iPhone. However when I created my house and everything, nothing will spawn whether it's day or night. I tried to switch to peaceful and back, but nothing will work. Does somebody have a remedy for this? Do mobs just don't spawn on ported maps?

Minecraft PE Mob Spawner?

So I made this one survival map on a ported map I found on MCPEUniverse. I made my whole house out of wooden planks and glass. What I was trying to do was to build a mob spawner on the side of my house out of cobblestone and cover all the cobblestone up with wooden planks to make it look better next to my house. However the thing is, mobs aren't spawning whether it's night or day. Any remedies?

What should I build on Minecraft PE?

I'm on minecraft pe and I would want to know what to build in my city. I already have 4 houses, a lookout place for seeing any monsters, a church, a restaurant, an underground mine, an under ground house and a place for my crops to grow. I want to add even more fun things but I don't know what.

Why can't I see my minecraft pocket edition inventory?

Ok umm where do I start… Oh when I log into mine craft pocket edition world I couldn't see the inventory it's still here but it invisable or something I use Pocket Editor pro to change survival to creative and gave me some diamonds anyway when I did that I log back into mine craft and I can't see that but I went to the menu screen I can see it there.
