Minecraft pocket edition 0.9.0, how can you get a wolf on survival? (iOs btw)?

HOW DO I GET A WOLF?!
I'm using "johnny appleseed" as my seed and I was wondering where and how can I get a wolf?
Any biomes?
Will they spawn?
How do I look for them then?
what time of the day will I find them?
