I CAN't GET MY WOLF IN MINECRAFT BACK?

OK so i got lost and had no idea how to get home i made my wolf or dog sit and i drowned myself to get back home i'm home now but how do i get my dog back i'm really worried and i got really atached to that wolf and i really want her back she can't teleport to me because she is sitting down Please Help
