How to stop a fire in your minecraft pe house?

Water, put blocks on it, isolate the fire with stone then rebuild, anything you can thnk of that could work against real fire, use your head.

Poor water freaking everywhere. Cover it with non flammable things. Basically what the other guy said! Lol

Same thing happened to me. Simple answer is you can't on P.E. Even putting water all over the the fire doesn't put it out and it spreads way faster than you can cover it with blocks!

To the other person who said 'use your head', YOU use your head. You've obviously never had a fire spread on P.E.

My daughter is trying to extinguish a fire in her cabin. She put water on it but it seems to be spreading. Should she blow it up and rebuild? Any other suggestions?

Is there a cheat that can turn fire spread off? I built a neighborhood and all had fireplaces. I made sure that there was no wood or flammable things nearby but some how my whole world burst into flames! BTW I'm on pe. Please help because I like having fireplaces but they do that.
