I have two blocks of tilled dirt and water surrounding the blocks. One block has the seed planted and the other block is empty. There's a sprout but melons / pumpkins won't appear, even when using bonemeal.

I recently got a new computer, and I seem to get low frame rates. It is an ASUS Q501LA with an i5 processor. Minecraft, (60 fps) SimCity, (20 fps) and Autodesk Inventor (no idea, but laggy). The reason that I'm asking is that my friend, with an A6 processor can get the same frame rates or higher. The frame rates aren't terrible, but for a new computer with that processor shouldn't they be higher? If a processor or graphics card upgrade is the answer, where can I get one for my computer? Other ideas are also welcome.

Please help… All of the block textures are invisible and only show up when i break them… I have tried uninstalling it and re installing it and it does the same thing.

So I'm starting to produce a survival game. My goal is to make in completely different from games like Minecraft or Rust. They are way overdone in my opinion. I want it more to be about survival then building. I want it to be a game where you have to survive as long as you can by hunting, cooking food, taking water and boiling it to make it safe to drink, building fires, etc. I want it to basically be a survive as long as you can and when you die, you have to start over. What kinds of things would you like to see in a game like this?
