I can't get minecraft to play split screen?

When I start minecraft signed in to guest or not signed the press start will never sho up and yes I have a HDTV. My gold account starts the game and guest can't join no matter what

Why is Minecraft Forge 1.7.2 not working?

Each time I start Minecraft with 1.7.2 Forge, the start screen becomes pixelated and there are random things in the pixels that have nothing to do with Minecraft, for example pieces of the start screen and desktop image. I tried restarting the computer but that didn't help either. I can still start Minecraft with the regular versions, only Forge creates this glitch. Please help! I'm so exhausted trying to find a reason for this.

P.S.: I use mac

So i want to play computer games with my boyfriend as he is a gamer i want to take an interest in what he likes to do as he never goes out so when i'm at his we stay in and he is on his computer game so i buy the games to play with him but he never does. What should i do? I have tried talking about it and going on when he is on but he never seems to want me to play we're both computer gamers so he is on his computer and i bring my laptop to his when ever i go his, I like to play minecraft and diablo Gmod and dayz all the games he plays.

Added (1). I found out a way to fix this! In your email, you would see an email from mojang saying your password has been changed. Follow the first link to reset your password, Put in YOUR SET password for minecraft and voila! If you have questions, tell me!

Why do the things I build on minecraft disappear?

So this has happened a few times now. I will be playing minecraft and go out gathering resources then 10 min later when I go and drop off what I gathered I find the staircase leading down to my storage room gone. I then rebuild it but then it happened again.

This happens when I'm gone so I don't ever see what the cause is. As far as I can tell it wasn't a creeper because my avatar isn't even remotely close to my house. What is happening? I thought that my account might be hacked but as far as I can tell nothing else is missing or messed with. Its just my staircase.

Is this some sort of glitch?

What are your favorite and least favorite video game genres?

The genres I love include: first person shooters, third person shooters, action RPGs, hack n slash, open world, turn based RPGs, stealth, survival horror, side strollers, and platformers. Not in that order.

Gernes I HATE include: 4X, real time tactics, strategy, anything multiplayer, simulation games, pointless games like minecraft, and tower defense. Not in that order
