I've been thinking about getting Minecraft but my laptop is 2010 MacBook Air. Will it run at a decent FPS -(Maybe 30?). If not is there anything I can do to speed it up if not?
Whenever I click on the play button on either Minecraft or a modpack it takes me straight to the launcher. When Minecraft takes me back I receive a crash report. Now i'm not a whizz and i've tried deleting the file and redownloading it. Can someone help? Here's the report-

I was thinking a Macbook might be good. Please recommend some gaming LAPTOPS! Thanks!
P.S. No laptops and my price limit is $2,500
I have a YouTube channel already but recently decided to make it a Minecraft based channel as they got the most views out of the lot I was doing, I really need some original creative ideas for names as I'm either going to try and change the name of this channel or make a new one, either way a cool name is need, short snappy catchy and memorable.
Here is my current youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/...nGamer0199
I've know there's a lot of videos and people with hints on how to make a portal but I Don't want to watch them since I want to figure this out by myself. Within the game itself is there a hint on how to make a portal cause I have been playing forever now and I want to go to nether, and I know I need a portal. I'm hoping that I will find a clue am I hoping in vain? Minecraft mentions nether but so far I haven't found any instructions, just curious if any one can suggest something without saying to much.
So i'm currently learning java on Youtube from a guy named Patrick Washington. I'm not really sure what programming language i want to learn next.
I started learning java so i could create minecraft plugins and such. So i'm really looking for programs more torwards like game developing/software creating.
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

my graphic card is updated but still i get error
Trying to connect two Netstar 500 IP audio codecs via IP over WAN (1 is in North Dakota, the other is in Atlanta, GA). DCHP enabled or disabled? Enter WAN IP address of Atlanta router as "gateway" or LAN IP address of North Dakota router? Does port forwarding codec allow OUTGOING data to pass through firewall, or INCOMING DATA to bypass firewall, or BOTH,(creating a tunnel between devices)? There's tons of port forwarding info on the net about gaming and minecraft, which is ABSOLUTELY USELESS TO ME. I need to know WHAT port forwarding IS. WHAT does it do EXACTLY? Walking me through the steps on how to port forward my minecraft game tells me absolutely NOTHING. These codecs are driving me absolutely crazy. They're not computers with an O/S and a control panel and device manager so you can climb in their guts and ASK them what's wrong. Everything is just pass/fail. And so far it's FAIL EVERY TIME. Also, what is DMZ? Is it different than port forwarding, and what does that do?
So I have two laptops around the 400 dollar range and both have the same apu inside. They both play things like skyrim on low settings and minecraft, but as soon as i try playing something like farmville, it lags like crazy. I have confirmed that this is a hardware issue and i was wondering if there was any way around it. I have tried multiple browsers. Maybe an older version of flash, or a browser with flash built in, anything i just need ideas.
