I was playing lan yesterday and my internet shut off and i got back on the internet and loaded the world up and opened it to lan and my brother couldn't connect any ideas?
I've tried the firewall allowing programs and stuff, the removing java and reinstalling, shutting off internet, i just couldnt get it

Is your brother on the same LAN (local network)? Because you mention the internet and whether you are connected to the internet or not should not matter for "Open to LAN" which is only intended to work for your local LAN and is difficult to port forward because it uses a different random port every time you start minecraft. But even within your local network maybe your firewall has an issue with the different random port every time.

Shut down the firewall, restart router, do the same on your brother computer.
