Problems with minecraft?

When i turn minecraft on with my graphics card it ussually run 100-170 fps, but when i switch to dekstop and get back to minecraft the fps falls down a lot… Maybe somebody knows how to fix it?

Minecraft ATM Machine Not Working?

I tried to make an ATM in Minecraft using this tutorial:

I know that I did everything right; It was working until I placed redstone during 24:25 until 25:38. The redstone, redstone torches, and redstone comparators/repeaters were somehow powered, though they shouldn't have been powered. I tried removing the redstone torch that was close to them, but to no avail. It was still powered. I tried digging down a few blocks and checking whether something underneath was powering it, but nothing was.

When I tested it out, the papers got stuck in the hopper. Can someone help me get it to work?

I play Minecraft on a Windows 10 computer. It's updated to the latest version.

MINECRAFT ORIGINAL CREATOR?

So I heard that some college students had originally came up with thew idea of Minecraft and made either a prototype or something of the game for fun. Then someone comes along and loves it so much they buy the rights to it from the college kids and makes it into the official game. What college were those kids from is my question?

Question about downloading Java 8 WorldPainter for Minecraft?

I'm interested in downloading WorldPainter for Minecraft. Only problem is, the software for a 32 bit computer says it requires Java 8. My computer runs on Windows 7. Will Java 8 be compatible with my computer? I have no experience with downloading Java.

And also, for anyone who has experience with WorldPainter… What's the program like? I'm interested in creating a massive map, with spread out islands, massive bodies of water, mountains, etc. Is WorldPainter a good program for doing that?
