Should I buy a gaming laptop?

I was wondering if I should spend a few hundred and buy a cheaper gaming computer. I play games like the sims 4, yandere simulator, minecraft, and others. I have a mac right now and it's really hard to run any of these games. I'm not a hardcore gamer so I don't need a fancy laptop for really high tec games. But I would really like a laptop that can manage some games and do normal things like work or school on it. I can't go out spending 1000 on a computer, I have a max price of maybe 400. Any suggestions?

How do I speed up my Wi-Fi?

OK, i'm living downstairs in a 3 story house. I'm not sure where the router is located but the Wi-Fi seems to be half slow everywhere. I tested it and it has about 10-15 down and 10 up on my pc with a wireless adapter. Compared to my old Wi-Fi this is decent but I still lag. Even in Minecraft lol. I have good ping and then it jumps to 300ms and then back to 60ms. This happens every 10 seconds. So yeah what can I do to speed up my Wi-Fi, boost signal or even make my computer a priority on it.

Do minecraft mobs get harder as in game time goes by?

So with the newest wave of minecraft hype, I've really gotten back into it - I've been on the same survival world for about a month, and I'm starting to notice a lot more fully armoured skeletons and zombies, and more baby zombie rider things. Is this something that happens overtime? Or is it just a coincidence?
