Worst Christmas gift EVER

My friend and I were trading gifts this year. I got her a MINECRAFT pig that cost $10.00. And she gave me a USED MINECRAFT zombie figure that she had last year. Its all scratched up and dented and even a bit broken. It was also very hard to get that for her. I had to beg my mom. Since she said she was gonna get me something MINECRAFT for Christmas I thought it would be 5 dollars or more so I thought I would try to even it out with getting her something MINECRAFT too. What do I tell my mom and how would you react if someone got something like this for you.

Minecraft is turning invisible. What to do?

OK, so after I updated to windows 1.8, the entire world of Minecraft that I'm in turns invisible, and starts sporadically flashing. I do not have nvidia, or AMD or any other fancy graphics card, and I'm not sure how to even install a driver (? Everyone/Every article online says I need one) Anyhow, if anyone can help with this invisible, somewhat flashing world I really would appreciate it.

If you were to create an RPG game, what inventory style would you use?

The two that I'm stuck between are 1. Minecraft, where there's a fixed amount of spaces for items.
2. Skyrim, where you can pick up as much as you want, but every item has a weight and once you reach your weight limit you will receive certain punishments such as slowness or weakness.

Gaming Laptop Recommended Specs?

So, I'm looking for a gaming laptop. I would like the price to be under $800 if it could be under $700 that would be even better. The main uses for the laptop will be running DayZ and Minecraft (at their highest settings.) I will also be running a recording software some of the time and uploading them to YouTube.

So, here is what I'm thinking

- Processor: I7 (Dual or Quad? And do GHz matter? If so, how many and what do they do)

-Ram: 8gb? 16gb? What do you think? Do they have any such thing as 12gb of RAM for laptops? How much RAM will I need to run DayZ or Minecraft at their highest settings, while recording, and possibly rendering videos while I record.

-? Graphics Cards: ? No clue what is good and what is bad.

Can I buy Mine craft with a Visa gift card?

I know, dumb question. I just want to be sure before I go all out and buy the gift card. I want to maybe buy Mine craft online so I can play with my boyfriend. He loves Mine craft and I figured, why not give It a shot and play with him instead of just listening to him play and talk about it when we're in a Skype call. I don't really want to use my debit card information, so I was thinking to buy a gift card and just use the Visa gift card's information to register for the game. Is it even worth it? Is the game fun?
