Don't write these early alpha games I want to play with full games and don't write Minecraft because it's not a real survival game imo. Don't care about graphics, I want great atmosphere.

I'm looking to buy a gaming desktop but my budget is 300-400$. Not sure if I should buy a refurbished one or not. I know that won't buy much performance wise but anything is better than my notebook laptop that gets 10 fps in minecraft!
I would like to find a game that is has unlimited playability, is preferably open world, competitive, online, requires me to think (as in trying to outsmart my opponent), moddable? And has a good mix of skill and strategy. Please don't somehow think of minecraft.
If you are from uk, could you tell me?
I just bought a new gaming router for gaming an streaming for around 200 bucks, I got it all set up. It's supposed to be 1900 Mbps but every time I do a network test I usually get 13 or 20 Mbps… Everything seems to be running way faster than my old router (which on tests got 68 mbps) but when I host a game on minecraft with my friend he lags a little and Iv been playing a little gta an it seems to be slower? Could this be psn? Everything els works fine (like streaming movies from my Gbox an Netflix) I also have a wired connected hooked up to my play staton.

I have a computer that is about seven years old and has been upgraded so many times, whether it would be more RAM or a better motherboard. Here are the specs I have now:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
Motherboard: Gigabyte G14-M Combo
GPU: AMD RADEON HD 7700
RAM: Kingston 4GB (I forgot the model but it is 2GB x 2)
I don't have a problem with memory as I have a few external hard drives in hand, but thing is, I'm constantly rendering and uploading videos. I also want to play games, but half of the games people play would not work on my computer. I record Minecraft, not commentaries, but songs using Note Blocks. I barely get 30 FPS when recording.
I have borrowed my friend s computer when he was away for a month and the change was like moving to a city after living in a village for 7 years. Shaders, 80 FPS when recording, editing videos were smooth as you like and rendering was done within half a minute. He used an AMD FX-6350 as a processor and had 6GB of RAM. I can't remember the graphics card he used but it was Nvidea.
After I used his computer, I realised how much I was missing out. I always thought my computer was sufficient to cope with today s generation of computers. Haha, my eyes have widen so much since then. The only problem is that my parents insist that the computer I have now is will be able to meet all my needs for the next couple years until I go to college or university… Is it time to change and if I do, can you guys recommend an editing build under $600?
Ok i know i won't be getting much performance wise but just hear me out. I have 70$ Currently and am considering selling my notebook laptop for about 250$-300$. So say i end up with about 350$, is there a prebuilt desktop i could buy that could run minecraft, black ops 2, and maybe ark survival with decent fps? I will have around another 100$ in December so i can upgrade the processor or graphics card later on. I know that 350$ for a decent desktop is unlikely i was just wondering. My laptop doesn't run games very well:/
I've been playing minecraft 1.8.8 and i have recently fallen into a lava lake in the nether. Normally i would just take the death and just re-stock my inventory, however, i have a few items that i have exhausted quite a bit of time and resources to accquire which i would rather not have to grind for agian. I have nbtexplorer though i'm not too familiar with the application. I'm just wandering if there's a way to increase my health so i can react, perhaps apply a fire resist or even just move me to a safe location where i could just reclaim my items. Thank you in advance for any help you could provide.
