I'm looking into trying to get a brand new desktop to replace the one I have currently. My current desktop is about 7 years old, runs on Vista, and every now and then, the PC runs very hard for no reason like it's about to die.
I've looked around on Amazon for some gaming computers that would seem to be able to play some of my favorite games, such as Skyrim and the upcoming Fallout 4, as well as some other games that wouldn't need much power, like Amnesia and Minecraft.
I don't really have a max price range, but I don't want to try to spend more than $1,500.

I'm not entirely sure if either of the two listed are of good quality for gaming, but I know it'll be much better than what I'm running at the moment. If they aren't, could anyone redirect me to a good gaming computer? That'd be lovely.
I'm tired of winows and have loved using macs in the past. I want a good macbook that will get me through college and is well enough to play minecraft on. What macbook should I get?
I have recently realized that my laptop (although fine for minecraft) is not good enough to run more complex games such as Skyrim, Arma II, Fallout, ect. My current setup is 6 GB of RAM and some low grade graphics card. Some have even told me I don't have a graphics card after checking my computer although I can run minecraft at 10 - 30 fps so I would assume I do have some form of card. I'm fairly clueless as far as knowing what to look for and have a budget of 500$ does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

Hi, I have downloaded both ATLauncher and Technic Launcher, and with both I have the same problem, the resourcepacks install totally fine but whenever I try to launch them it waits a couple of mo' s and then the original launcher just appears again. I have Java 8, and I've tried Minecraft Forge for 1.8 and 1.7.10. I also operate on 64-bit Java and Windows 10. No errors messages ever appear, the same thing just happens again and again.
I'm trying to play minecraft but it's so laggy. It works perfectly as I'm starting the game and on the home menu. As soon as my world loads, I move around for like 10 seconds and it will freeze. It will be stuck for like 10 seconds, and then I run around again and it freezes again for the same time. It will keep doing this.
It's been like this for awhile now. It was perfectly fine before but now it's being stupid. I can't even play so I just quit out of frustration.
Is it the newest update or is it just my game? Do I have to delete it and reinstall it?
What mac would be better for me to use for youtube & games like Minecraft with screen flow? Thanks.
