I want to buy a used Macbook Air from 2011 to use it while traveling. I will use it for YouTube, Netflix, video editing (in 720p) and maybe some light games like Minecraft or Roblox.

So my friend N put me in a group chat with her other friends J, T and O. I'm pretty good friends with N even though we've drifted apart alot in the last two years but we still talk sometimes, go to the movies, etc. I'm okayish friends with J even though we're awkward sometimes and I used to be pretty good friends with O last year. And I occasionaly talk to J. Anyways, N put me in a group chat with all of them and it's super awkward. I've only talked in the group chat about 2 times. They're always talking about inside jokes, homework and stuff like that since they're in the same class and I'm in a different class. They also always talk about their interests like anime, Minecraft and things like that which I don't mind but the conversation never seems welcoming to me since I don't relate to what they're talking about half of the time? What do I do? How can I slip into the conversation?

Which macbook should i buy?
Added (1). i'm youtuber i already have a beast desktop but i need to upgrade my current 2013 macbook air cause of storage issues i will do some photoshop, lightroom, maybe after effects and premier pro mostly 1080p clips
also i want to get into programming ios apps and more also some light gaming would be good like minecraft

I suck at minecraft to sum it up. I've practiced no luck. I'm just that bad.
So, my parents got me a laptop (Toshiba Sattelite C55-C5268) and it's okay in gaming. Not the best (Planetside 2 needs 800x600 to get 30fps) But I still get like 60 fps in games like minecraft. I'm not allowed to get a new laptop, but I may do whatever I want to this one. It seems upgrading laptops are really hard but in some cases possible (If this model can do that please let me know) but I've also heard of a thing called external components. Is it possible for me to plug in like a better proccessor or graphics card without me having to worry about it fitting?
What Windows do YOU use for Minecraft?
Well I've never played it before i've always just played games like WoW. I've been wanting to learn proggramming after this computer class I took. Is it a good way to learn?
Added (1). Well I'm not expecting the game to revolve all around programming neccesarily. I might need to still get some books on it, however is Minecraft a kind of game that familiarizes you with the structure of programming?
