What is a good web browser that doesn't use heaps of memory?

So like any noob I started using IE then found out that Firefox was better and switched. Then firefox got to a point where it started using multiple gigabytes just to load. I even went through checking everything. Then I switched to Pale Moon since it was just like firefox but used much less memory. Now it's getting to a point where pale moon is doing the same. I left Minecraft running for the last few days and even with 100 or so mods installed it still only uses about 1 GB but pale moon wants 2.5 - 3 gbs. I've noticed the last few updates have majorly increased the memory usage.

So can anyone help me, also don't recommend chrome cause I've checked it out and the lack of menu bar is just to hard and annoying to work with. P.S I do have Safari but I dislike the fact that flash is auto disabled as soon as a new update is out and you're forced to update to do anything. So if you're gonna recommend it don't make it your first choice.

Www.Comodo.com has two to choose from.

Dragon which is based on Chrome and Ice Dragon which is Mozilla based.

I use Ice Dragon the most. They are both lighter on resources and they are more secure.

Chrome does have a menu and bookmarks. It has all that other browsers have. I still won't recommend it.

All browsers use lots of RAM. It is inevitable. Everything you see on the screen, including all the processes working in the background, are loaded in the RAM. You may wish to either, turn most of those processes off (like software that you don't use) or upgrade your RAM. It is not expensive theses days, especially if you get it 2nd hand from ebay or a computer recycling place.

I'm using Firefox, and have just checked it's usage, which is
338412Kb, so I don't know why your's is using Gbs of memory

Actually, if you want the browser that consumes the least RAM.

Simple and straightforward: Opera
http://www.opera.com/...opera.com/

That is if you don't care about the bells and whistles Firefox and Chrome offers.

Google Chrome

Time to switch back to IE11…
