HP Pavilion dv4-5113cl max memory and memory slots?

I need to know the max memory/ram my computer can take and also how many memory slots it has, the hp site specs don't say.

The reason for this is I need 16gb of ram because I'm going over what I'm supposed to use with 8gb even though that should be enough. Somebody told me that I should only use 45 percent of the commit (gb) in the task manager and I'm at 9/15 which is almost 75 percent. It would be awesome if my computer had four memory slots but the specs on the site don't say. I multitask a lot and like to have lots of webpages open when I play minecraft online so 8gb is not enough I believe. I also turned off most of the visual settings on my computer and am on high performance battery mode. Correct me if I'm wrong about anything!

Maximum ram 2x8GB
It is probably 2x4GB now, but might be 1x8. It is apparently easy to access

If you have 1x8 and an open slot, best to identify precisely what you have an match it as close as possible.
Belarc Adviser and Speccy can be installed and reports hardware information.

Now, about any details you note, you can use 99% of ram and not have an issue. It is only if you consistently hit 100% that an upgrade is worthwhile, or, in a Windows modern system, having less than 4GB, would always have 4 or more.
I have never seen a 4 ram slot laptop, but a few probably exist.
Windows uses up to about 2GB or so. Graphics processor allocation can get to 4GB maximum.
That is 6GB. Using 2GB of additional programs at one time is a lot.
If you like to keep 20 windows of Internet explorer open and run 2 monitors and concurrently do other things, then yes, 16GB can help.
You have i5-3210M, HD 4000 graphics and it can use 1.7 GB of ram, so you have 4gb now for all processes other than Windows.
Not sure about the HP mode title. Your system does run better on AC power, like all PCs.

If you WANT to upgrade to 16GB, it can't hurt anything but your wallet, so feel free to buy the right 2 sticks and replace the two you have. $80 to $90 in the USA and can re-sell used ram.
