My sister has wanted Minecraft for the PC for a while now. She played the free beta of the windows 10 edition, and now wants top buy it. Is it worth it to buy the original version from Mojang? I don't know what the differences are between the versions, if there are any. All I now is that the original has an extra $15 to the price tag. Is there more to that version? Will my system be able to handle it if the windows 10 free version worked fine? She is also talking about mods, which i don't know if my system can handle those, either (I use a laptop for stuff, atm).
Minecraft Windows 10 Edition?

The WIndows 10 Edition is a SEPARATE VERSION of Minecraft that's geared to work with XBox One & Portable Editions for multiplayer support, which is currently $10 while in Beta (price will increase once it hits "Official Release").
The Windows 10 Edition doesn't support game mods nor official online support with the standard edition.
The Standard Edition of Minecraft that goes for $27 allows you to play that version on ANY computer with Java installed (Windows, Linux, Mac, ect.) & can be played through a web browser from the Minecraft.net website (so no client downloads required). The Standard Edition does supports mods & allows you to play the latest snapshots.
If you want to the full game experience, go with the Standard Edition.
If you want to play with console & mobile players online, go with the Windows 10 Edition. Make sure the game isn't laggy, or it will be a waste of money. If you want you can maybe get a version of Minecraft for cheaper on some websites.
