Minecraft mod install

I'm using 1.7.2 mods and forge, I HAVE the forge for it and the mods for it, I have a mods folder and I have the mod I downloaded in it, but it's not working

If it's not working, make sure you have:

- Correctly installed Forge and the mods

- The mods and/or Forge are not outdated

- You have run Minecraft WITH Forge installed at least once

Also, if you're new to using mods, try skydaz.com. It's full of mod installers. Just download the installer, select your profile with Forge installed, and hit the install button.
