So I reinstalled minecraft and I know that you need to open it so the client can create the folders but when I go to application support the minecraft folder is not there help me please I really want to install mods I've tried using doing the shortcut and manual way of going to application support but minecraft is not there please help
I reinstalled minecraft on my macbook pro osx and for some reason the minecraft folder is gone?

If your minecraft works it should have a.minecraft folder. Try going into options, Resource packs, then click on "open resource pack folder" That should get you to the.minecraft folder. Create a short cut and your done. Also, if this doesn't work, i don't know what to do:/
