I can't find the "mods" folder where you place all of your mods. I thought that when you download minecraft its just there but i can't find it… Do i really need it? If i do need to then how do you use it… Do you just place the mod inside the folder?
I can't find a mods folder inside the.minecraft folder do i need one and if so how does it work?

Setting up mods is not easy at first but believe me if you do it a couple times it gets very easy. Now this is all depending of you are using mod loader or forge. I recommend forge. You have to make a mods folder it does not just appear if your like me and your using windows you have to right click and click new folder and name it "mods" no caps. When you have your forge set up you should be able to drag mods into your mods folder. After done installing launch your minecraft click new profile. Name the profile whatever you want and for the version there should be a version with the word forge in it, that is te version you must use. If my answer doesn't help I recommend watching a youtube tutorial.

Skydaz.com download mods from there then open the downloaded file up and click install make sure you make a backup and DO MOT have minecraft running while you install it otherwise it will give you black screen
