I installed minecraft on the.dmg file for my macbook pro, and the problem is that everytime I try and fix it, it says "You need java se 6 runtime. Would you like to install?" so then I hit "install" and it said "installation complete" and then I click on minecraft again but it brings up the same question again. How do I solve this?

Go to the Java website directly and update it. If that doesn't work, delete the Minecraft file (except the world file if you have a world already on there) and reinstall it.
