So i got a new PC today with windows 8 on it. But every time I try to play Minecraft I can't hit play or log in. Any help?

Well, Windows 8 is really glitchy. I myself am running an outdated Windows XP Professional.(And that runs Minecraft perfectly well.) Try reinstalling Minecraft. If that doesn't work, bang on the side of the P.C. (Sometimes all it needs is a good whack.)

The last guy that answered is lying I'm using Windows 8 and it runs perfectly with no glitches at all. Update to Windows 8.1 and then check. Most likely it is not Windows that is messing up its your Minecraft. You might of deleted a file inside your Minecraft directory that is required. I suggest you update to Windows 8.1 and see if the problem is still there. If it is, it's your Minecraft. Delete all Minecraft files from your computer and then re-install them.
