Today when i tried to play Minecraft i clicked on the icon, the MINECRAFT sign appeared as usual and after that nothing. Usually after that the launcher appears, but it seems that it crashes. The last time i played the game was yesterday. So far i tried reinstalling the game, i tried "run as administrator" and none of this helped.

You do not have the latest version of Java. Go to the Java website and install/reinstall Java.64 bit. Then reset your computer, load Minecraft, turn off all texture packs and mods and it will work!
