I own a Surface RT and my mom owns a Surface 2. I heard that Microsoft is going to purchase Mojang in late 2014-early 2015. If this is true, will the Surface run Minecraft either on the Microsoft store or available for download off the internet? I don't mean a copy of Minecraft; I mean the actual one that costs money.

Have you looked at the specs of your " tablet "… Megs of ram… Harddrive and or memory space… Video card specs? And looked at what is needed to run minecraft… Even in barebones requirements…
