I'm going into high school, I need advice?

So I'm starting my first year of high school which is being a freshman in a couple of weeks and I was looking for advice on going into high school. It would help a lot. Advice for everything in my freshman year thank you.

Hey I'm Alan and I'm about to be a senior in high school. I would do all my work because it could come back to haunt you once your a senior and that's the year where you kinda wanna have fun so take care of business. Second be your self man don't try to fit in with people just cause they're "cool". I've had so many friends change just cause of that. Third stay away from drama! That's what I did and my high school years have been amazing but please be yourself even if that means playing call of duty or reading, minecraft, anime etc…

I'm going to be a freshman too and I've looked up advices and took advices from people who graduated high school or currently in high school so I don't feel so nervous. Basically, you just got to do what you have to do. On the first day of school, make sure to keep in contact with some of your familiar friends, but also try talking to new people because after a short while, a group of people will close their circles. Make sure to do your work and take responsibility. There are going to be people who might call the freshmans ''fresh meat'' but those are probably the seniors or so. It's just like when I entered middle school, all the 8th graders called us super short and cute which was quite annoying but we dealt with it and it faded as time went by. Always have your supplies, do your classwork/homework, and have a couple of friends who you may socialize with and you'll do fine throughout your high school experience. Take in my advice and so will I because we'll survive through it together!

Your learning priod is very importent time so you do not find others. Be reaserve
and go ahead and do your home work regularly.

You are going to meet a much wider pool of people than what was available before at your middle school. A few familiar faces might be attending the same high school as you, but there's immense opportunity for meeting and making friends with all sorts of personalities.
My biggest advice about Freshman year is make sure that you do not slack off and shrug off your responsibilities. A lot of people regret making the mistake of losing the motivation to stay involved with their education their Freshman year as they probably had to retake their Freshman classes over again next year and didn't get to graduate with peers of their age group. It happens, but don't let it happen to you.
My second biggest advice is more for Sophomore year, teenage angst sets in big time around the age of 15-17, so if you find yourself stuck with people that are wearing you out with their childish drama, stop being friends with them. Most of the people you meet in high school don't stay with you later in life, so protect your time and sanity by only keeping people around you that make you happy.

Things I've learnt in high school:

1. Find a friend in each of your classes. So you have someone to copy homework off.
2. Explore the school and find the quickest way to your classes. So you're never late.
3. Don't carry all of your books, just bring them on the days you need them so they don't weigh you down.
4. Keep a pen in your pocket. Saves you for going into your bag.
5. Your first friends in high school might not be your friends when you're in senior.
6. Be nice to your teachers, they're the ones marking your work. You don't want them to have a bias.
7. Don't write the full paragraph down, only the points which are important.
8. Like above, dot points. They're your friends.
