I will be getting a new macbook next week and I'm just wondering how minecraft will run? I know macs aren't built for gaming but what should I expect from this MacBook Pro? I would just like to know the average FPS on high settings. Please do not tell me how bad macs are for gaming or that I should buy a pc I just want to know what to expect.

Should run fine. I have a 2007 macbook and it ran fine til the hdd started going. But you will have an ssd in the new macbooks so it "should" run faster.
At your request I'll keep comments about macs to myself.
