How to make minecraft fun the best it can on an HP laptop with 4gb of Ram?

I have this new laptop i got a few days ago, it has 475gb left of space and 4gb of ram but when i run minecraft i only get 10 fps, my old one had far less space but the same ram, but ran a LOT faster, can someone answer please i just want to enjoy Minecraft again.

I'm sorry to say but ram is not the only thing that determines the fps you get in games you may need a better graphics card(GPU) try lowering the graphic setting to "fast" not "fancy" and lower the render distance(how far you see) as low as it goes.
