For now that is enough. As minecraft upgrades then it may not be in the future. You may need to upgrade to 6gb soon.

Easily. Your main concern should be what you have for internet service.

It depends if you are going to run the minecraft server and client on the same machine. I had to go from 4GB to 8GB to give me the 6GB I needed to run the server and client as well as OS and other background programs.
