I've Been looking into gaming laptops and wondering how well would 4gb of ram be and how well 6gb would work for games like minecraft or The Elder Scrolls (online, V, ect…). The Main reason are for those two games and my computer can the Elder Scrolls. So if you could help me, thank you in advance.

A 6GB of RAM could be a better choice for gaming.

The more your graphics memory you have the more fps or quality of game you will get. You can buy a 6GB ram laptops for better gameplay with no lag.

Since other processes will be running in the background then go with the 6 gb of ram, having more ram space for the games to run smoothly, get one that has a good quad processor{ intel} and a good discrete graphic card suggust the nvidia gt or gtx 700m series

Well obvs 6gb is better but i'm not sure if an extra 2gb would help that much. But then again without knowing what gpu you have knowing the ram is pointless to knowing if you can run a game or not. Because you could have a better gpu but less ram and more ram but a worse gpu.
But if you want a simple answer then 6gb is better
