My friend gets mistaken for a girl(mainly at stores) he doesn't really look like one though. He usually wears minecraft shirts but he has long hair. I'm a guy but don't think I have ever got mistaken for a girl before. Has this happened to you?

I sometimes did when I was little. It was the '70s and my mom was fairly young. She always kept me up with the fashions of the day, and that included long hair for males
We'd go to a department store and split up. I'd be looking at toys and sometimes a store employee would come up behind me and say "May I help you, young lady?" But they might have just been messing with me
