Did they remove them because i tried so many maps with the xray glitch and can't find strongholds. Only mineshafts. If you know any seed with them, please tell me!

Use eye of enders (Enderpearl and blaze powder in a crafting table), throw it like a enderpearl and it goes the way the strong hold is. When your above it the eye of ender goes into the ground.
