I have a ps3 now and I'm sort of leaning towards an xbox one because TitanFall and Halo. But I also want a ps4 for the next Infamous and Planetside 2 which is a game that I was really looking forward to. I also don't really enjoy the whole 'paying for xbox live' thing. How much does xbox live cost? And also I already have minecraft for ps3 and I don't want to buy it again and start over on xbox one.

You have to pay to play online on ps4… There's subscription fee same as the xbox one… I know that ps3 is free to play but sony change their mind on ps4… You have to pay for the playstation plus in order to play online…
it is depend on you. If you like xbox one exclusive games, just go with xbox one… Titanfall and halo look promising, if you are a shooter fan.those game will be good for you.
but ps4 also has many interesting exclusive games such uncharted series, warframe, killzone: shadow fall, the order 1886, infamous series, and ratchet and clank series
