Would any laptop be okay to play games on and record on?

I want to know if any game is fine to plays games on, like minecraft, and record it.

Well the term "Any" is pretty broad when it comes to laptops as their are thousands of different kinds and models. But here is some advice

1) If you have money to spend, do NOT buy Alienware. Their specs are terrible and they are cheaply made

2) If you are going for games get a PC. Now I like Macs better but PC's have a giant library of games compared to apple

3) Try to get a PC that is made after 2011 or 2012, best if you can get the most current model. Computers are outdated every 3 years so try to get the newest model you can

4) Make sure it has some RAM. If you don't know what that is just think of it as how much your computer can handle. If you are playing a game, recording, and doing something else you might want to shoot for at least 8 Gigabytes.

5) If you have tons of money and want to play giant games like MMO's or RPG's (WoW, Diablo 3, DotA 2) try the Razor Blade Pro. It is a very nice, but pricey, computer that has touch screen on the key pad.

Hope this helps!

(and if you are into games like Minecraft and Terraria, check out Starbound. Think of it like Terraria with infinite planets, weapons, monsters, and items.)

Recording and playing at the same time is pretty intensive. Most laptops would probably struggle. You need a pretty high end one to do it without much slowdown I would think.

I wouldn't go for "Any"
The laptop should have at least a quad core processer and 2 gigs of RAM
