My brother sits all day playing such a pointless game with no plot or story whatsoever. It angers me because this game is not good at all! Its overrated because of famous You Tubers so all these little kids
jump on to it saying some weird stupid stuff like "Butter". I'm not a fan boy of COD or Boyfriend. Because I play all kinds of games and honestly this game is just… Dumb. I can only sit on it for 1 minute and get bored. I wish there was an explanation on why this game was so popular! Because if you take time to think about it, the game is a 3-D dimensional cube game with some ignorant creatures that attack you day and night. (Mostly Night from what I hear). The game would be cool if it were like "The Forrest" but this game is beyond all stupidity. So someone please explain what makes this game so hugely recommended?

Because little kids who cry when they lose play it. And there's no losing in that "game"

Except you have an infinite number of Legos.
It isn't for everyone, but the appeal is pretty obvious. Some people have active imaginations and don't need a plot or purpose to playing the game. They set their own goals to build their own things.

It's a fun game for casual people who want to play something simple, where you can build things and create your own fun, personally I think it's boring but it is cool for little kids or casual gamers.

The fact that minecraft has no storyline is what makes it so fun, you can do what you want, build what you want and there's no rules. Sure, you don't like it, but some people love this type of game
I wish i knew. But on the other hand i don't considering the fact that minecraft looks stupid. Youre just building things out of rock and sand then getting blown up by a creeper
It's a Sandbox-Indie game, of which there tends to be no point. There's no story and no quests aside from those added by the Modding Community.
