As the topic says, why is there so much about video games? It's like if I search for something, there's stuff about Call of Duty, Minecraft, or something like that. It's a bit annoying and I'd like to find a way to filter that from my searches.

Search engines are going to have adverts. Sometimes it'll be something about video games because that's how adverts work. If you mean the search results themselves then I'm not sure what's going on there. Perhaps you're searching for something that happens to be video game specific.
