Why does everyone hate Minecraft so much? I've played it before, and it is not that bad. Am I missing something?

Because most people have played it for ages and don't like new changes / got bored. I personally hate it unmodded, but am playing sky factory 3 ATM.

I think people just hate on it because of its simplistic style and creativity. I remember when I used to hate on it, and I tried a demo even though I didn't want to, and I bought it about 10 min later. But yeah, people think its 'just a kids game' and judge it because of its appearance.

Maybe they are talking about the community?
Depends on the servers and people. But mostly I've seen them, they are playing little kids.
Maybe because it was overrated?
I dunno know.
