Why do theists think atheists don't like religions?

I see many people adhering to a ridiculous hypothesis that atheists hate being told "the truth" (which is so obnoxious it makes me want to delete your minecraft save file )

Some of them claim atheists don't like their particular religion because they want to be able to do anything they want.

I mean COME ON!
Do you honestly see no other reason why your particular religion comes off as unappealing?
Can you honestly claim the religion you adhere to has done nothing to reasonably pis$ people off?

Added (1). @ apostle: Jesus christ, do you really think that's why people move away from religion? Because of some sort of global plan to incite doom?

No. Not minecraft. Please. No.

Atheists on R&S say everyday how much they Hate Christians.

9/11 and the Crusades might be a reason for disliking religion

What is religion, after all?

A set of practices that follow one's belief.

If that is so, could non-belief result in practices depending on what a person's non-belief relates to? Of course. Let me give you an example, if I don't believe there are criminals in my neighborhood, would that affect my behavior?

So this talk of religion or no-religion is utter nonsense. We're all led by our beliefs or no-beliefs as it affects the way we live.

It is called "Persecutory delusion"
