Apparently, because I play pokemon, like watching pewdiepie, roosterteeth/achievement hunter, smosh, etc, like playing minecraft, like more kiddy games than gory games, and I have funny thoughts, I'm weird. I just think I'm original. Also, considering my past, I actually think I'm more normal than some people, I witnessed my own father beat my mother, I watched as my nanna passed in front of me, I had to stand there as my father disappeared for 2 years, after going through that, doing the stuff I do is the only way I stay sane with life. I just wanted to know, why is this considered weird?

No I play pokemon it is not weird if anything it is serious people make a living through it, pewdiepie is awesome and so is everything else who cares if they think your weird. You have been through enough in your life. They just consider it weird because they never gave these things a chance don't hang out with the people who don't like you for who you are, just find people who have things in common with you and like you for who you are but remember YOU ARE NOT WEIRD!

I know how you feel, i also saw my mother got beat up by my father when i was even 5, it's one of the worst things to witness. But the things you do is not harmful and being weird sometimes is not a bad thing having your own style own hobbys is a good thing, don't think about what others thinks, do what you want, leave your past behind, live the way you want to live, but when you do those things do it in the best way and eventually people would respect you even if they don't then they can go to hell.
