Which graphics card should I buy?

I have a Dell inspiron 3000 Desktop series.
Intel Pentium Processor Dual Core
Integrated Intel HD graphics card
4GB of RAM
500GB hard drive

I'm looking to upgrade my integrated graphics card. I'm not a computer gamer, which is why I didn't buy an expensive gaming computer. I do most of my gaming on my consoles. Recently I started playing some minecraft. I want to be able to play games that don't require a powerful graphics card, I just need one that will do the job under 100 dollars. (I like minecraft on pc better than the console version).

Added (1). It has a slot for a PCI-E graphics card. My computer also has 220 watts of power.

I've got just the card for you, but you realize if you add a graphics card, you MUST change the power supply.

Computers are built with a power supply just barely able to power them as they are. A video card of any kind requires an upgrade of the power supply. Even the video cards that don't have extra power connections can draw up to 75 watts from the motherboard. I would recommend 750 watts, major name brand, semi-modular or full modular, 80+ rated, single 12 volt rail, active PFC, and so on. Cost about $120. It's always best to have more power than you need. Power supplies are happiest running below their maximum, and they live much longer lives. You don't want to have to buy a whole new power supply in a few years just because you skimped today, do you?

You MUST buy a power supply to feed your system plus video card!

The video cards I recommend for you are the Radeon R7-260X or the GeForce 750. They are the cheapest video cards that are worth having. They cost between $100 and $125. Sapphire is a really good brand.

What you can do is buy the video card and power supply NOW, then MOVE them to your next computer, so you won't have to buy them again!

This would be a great GPU under $100 that you would be able to play minecraft well.

First check it has a slot suitable for a graphics card and that it is not an SFF computer with zero extra room
