What would be a good desktop for me?

I need a good computer for audio recording and editing, some video editing, watching youtube videos, and of course gaming.

I plan on playing games like World of Warcraft, SWTOR, and Minecraft. I would like to have a computer running Windows 7 because 8 is still new and I heard a lot of people have problems with it and WoW, also I don't like the idea of pretty much having a phone as a computer.

My budget is the problem though, I only have $400 because this will be my birthday present.

Any ideas? Also need to be able to get it from Best Buy or Walmart.

I'm afraid that computers for that type of thing start in the $800 range
but you would want something with:
intel i7 with 2.4 GHz or more
8 gb ram
graphics card with at least 2 gb but 3 gb would be best

Look at Walmart.com and go to computers and look at refurbs. Stick with W7 only.
You can find a decent comp with at least a dual core intel processor and 4 gig ram, and have money left over for upgrade on a graphics card.
I would dodge the hp or compaq.
