Hey I'm really getting p*ssed of when you get your hopes up with getting the AMD R9 280X, then someone says it's gunna bottleneck how many GPUs will Bottleneck my CPU.
It's as if they shouldn't of invented the AMD FX 6300 because everything bottlenecks with it.
WHAT IS THE BEST GPU I CAN GET THAT WILL RUN ON MY CPU WITHOUT IT BOTTLENECKING.
I want to get GTA 5 and play Thief, Watchdogs, Battlefield 4 and many more games like minecraft.
So what is the best GPU for my FX 6300
It won't bottleneck. Get the 280x.
Maybe a 660ti?

No modern Video card will bottleneck with a modern CPU.
Bottlenecking is the current buzzword along with "cloud' computing. It's all just marketing BS. Seriously. Think about Cloud Computing. Its basically putting work on a server. That's been around since the beginning.
Anyway, If you have a Pentium 4 processor and put in a Radeon R9, then yes, the radeon would be bottlenecked by the slow, old CPU. THat will not happen on a 6core FX processor which was made for gaming.
Wth. The 6 CORE 3.5 GHZ will not bottleneck it.
IMO FX 6300 is the best CPU in AMD for price performance.
Also the FX 6300 will help you with the GTA series since they have bad optimization.
Just get the R9 280X
