Okay so I have a Radeon r9 270x with 8gbs of ram, currently I have a fx-8130 and getting 30 fps avg on gmod. If I upgrade to a fx-6300 will I see improvement in fps for games like minecraft gmod and planetside 2?
Will upgrading from fx-8130 to fx 6300 increase preformance?

Probably not as its the GPU that determines performance.
