Should my AMD Radeon R7 360 GPU run this hot?

I recently got my new gaming desktop today and have been watching my temperatures. I noticed that everything seems fine except my GPU. It sometimes runs around 70c-86c while using Minecraft shaders. Should it be running this hot? Also if you are wondering I have the "iBuypower ARC 647 CASE". All the wires are away from the GPU. So, could someone tell me if I should be worried or is it to hot?

70F or 70 C? Because they are different. 70 degree alone is a max temp for a processor. When they are that hot, they will turn itself down (turned off). IF you don't want these GPU to run hot, don't overclock the clockspeed. Games will run unstable anyway if they are too hot.

That's normal for a GPU under loads. My GPU runs around that temperature under loads as well. A good idea would be to make sure your room is not too stuffy, as this actually matters. Have a good air flow in your room.

1. Adjust your fan speed past 18% (AMD Catalyst default) if you have not already

2. Limit your frames to 60, 120, or w/e your monitor s refresh rate is. You don't need 2000+ frames… If its not built into Minecraft, use a program like Bandicam or MSI Afterburner to limit frames.

3. If it still runs that hot, and adjusting your fan profile does nothing, you should know that the newer GPUs from AMD and Nvidia both have a feature to turn the fan off "when it's not needed" and it causes the temps to rise to around 65-75C. Manually setting a fan curve or profile SHOULD override it, unless it's not allowed on your card due to the GPU s vBIOS. If you can't set your fan through software means, you should contact the GPU manufacturer, and they can probably provide you with a custom vBIOS that will allow you to do so.
