When I first join a server its fine but but if i teleport to somewhere on the server it turns into steve. Everyone else had their own skin.
Why does my minecraft skin keep turning back to steve/default?

I know this isn't going to help that much but when I play on with my friend, she has this doctor who skin and she can see it but when i look at her i just see steve. This didn't really answer your question so id wait for other people to answer it. But yeah, your not the only one who's skin f**ks up.

I have had this problem a LOT. Have you tried asking others on the server if you appear to be steve to them? Sometimes its just your game catching up, if not, you might need to change what version of the game you are playing at, as some servers can only support certian types and need updating. For example, you may be playing 1.7.8 but the servers only support 1.7.7, It really depends what server it is. I have played minecraft and looked like a steve, however in was skyping my friend and she told me i wasn't to everyone else. If none of these options work, i suggest e-mailing the minecraft team, I hope this helps!
