I have a minecraft server named mcmulticraft but the domain is allready taken. All it says when you go to the webpage is "Default Page". Why would they pay for a domain that they do not use?

Looks like it was registered on February 11th.
Domains are cheap. Maybe they have big plans for the domain but they didn't want somebody else to get the domain before them. Or maybe they know you wanted it so they registered it first so they can sell it to you for a profit.
