Hi I'm trying to make a minecraft server, i have followed the tutorials exactly and yet nobody can join my server when i give them my ip address.
I downloaded the server exe, when the server is running it lets me join on localhost.
I own a belkin router and already put my last ipv4 digit into the private ip address along with the 25565 in the port boxes.
And then I googled what is my ip address, and that is what people are suppose to use to connect right?
But instead it gives them this error:
java.net.connectexception connection refused
Please help! ~___~
Added (1). i don't know if this has anything to do with it, but each time i run ipconfig i almost always get a different ipv4 number for the last digit?
Added (2). yeah umer, I already followed all those steps and yet people can't join and i get that java error
