Opinions On This Minecraft Hosting Company?

Hey so i'd like to create a minecraft server and i've looked at a few different hosting websites and this one seems to be the best i've seen so far:
https://diamondhost.org/
Does anyone have any experience with this host/can give me any info or advice or opinion?

I have never used DiamondHost, but I have advice for you when finding a great gaming server.

LEVEL OF SERVICE
_______________________

You always want to know what you're getting from what you're paying for. Understand what you're going to get. Ask questions or find answers to the questions:

"How do I manage the MineCraft server they'll be hosting?"
"What level of support will they give me?" (Phone, E-Mail, Community-Based, Social Media, etc.)
"What are the specifications?" (Gets technical, but higher is better.)

Ask a hosting company as many questions as you may have about their service. There's no question too stupid and they'll be a company you want to deal with if they're willing to deal with every question you have.

AGREEMENTS
________________

Much like an enterprise I.T. Company, you are also presented with what their obligations are to you. If this means 99.9% uptime with compensation for time lost, then you had better note that down. If they are going to provide you with a service, make sure you know what service they are providing you… Phone support, e-mail support, guaranteed response time, automated backups, management software… Any service or product they offer should be noted.

THE OTHER WAY

If you want to go advanced, you can go ahead and start your own Virtual Private Server, Dedicated Server, or a (monthly) Cloud Instance. It goes without saying… "some assembly required", but if you have a will to learn, you can take this method. This way also inspires some people to create Minecraft hosting companies and start a business doing it.

Ask as many questions, research anything you don't know, see what really speaks to you… A flashy website doesn't always mean the best service. If you must do it yourself, go for it!

Why not host your own server? All you need is a computer, and a tutorial on how to set it up. It's fairly easy. I have one of my own.

Here's a good video tutorial -

The benefit of having your own server is you can start it when you want, have full control over the settings, edit it however possible, and gain knowledge on how to set it up, run it, and edit it!

The only benefit I see of having someone host it for you, is its just running all the time, and it's less complicated. By hosting it yourself, you could save money and heck, possibly even earn money from it.
